Intellectual property

Distinctive features

The trademarks, logos and designs appearing on the Nordnet Sites and Nordnet order forms belong to Nordnet, to the third parties concerned or to the companies in the group to which it belongs. Any reproduction, imitation or use, in whole or in part, of these distinctive signs without their express authorisation and in breach of the prohibitions set out in particular in articles L. 513-2 et seq. and L. 713-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code shall incur the liability of their author.

The other distinctive signs, company names and trade names, product and service names, brand names and domain names reproduced on the Sites are the property of Nordnet, the companies with which it has a relationship or the companies in the group to which it belongs. Any reproduction without express authorisation is may render the author liable, in particular on the basis of article 1240 of the French Civil Code.

Nordnet prohibits any use of its brands and name as keywords, particularly in the context of an SEO service. Any use without its express prior consent will render the author liable on the aforementioned grounds.

Content of Nordnet Sites

The general structure of the Nordnet Sites, as well as each of the elements of which they are composed taken independently, in particular the text (articles, documentation, etc.), data and graphic elements (visuals, videos, etc.), constitute works that are protected by the law and regulations relating to intellectual property, specifically by copyright, drawings and models, trademark law and the sui genesis right of the producer of databases.

Any representation, modification, total or partial use of the Nordnet Sites or of one of the elements of which they are composed without the prior and express authorisation of Nordnet is prohibited, as is the setting up of deep hypertext links to any of the contents and Sites of Nordnet (where applicable under the responsibility of the person). Failure to comply with these prohibitions may constitute an infringement as per the terms of articles L. 335-3 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Nordnet is not subject to any obligation to monitor the information and content that you may post on Nordnet Sites and in particular the Nordnet blog (https://blog.nordnet.com). In this respect, you guarantee that any information or comment submitted to Nordnet via the Nordnet Sites is made in accordance with the applicable rules and in particular does not infringe any intellectual property right.

Recipient of personal data

Data retention period
For chats concerning a customer, we keep a record of any exchanges in an active database for the duration of the contractual relationship and for a period of five (5) years thereafter in an intermediate archive. For those concerning a prospect, we keep them in our active database for a period of three (3) years from the last positive contact.
